Registrations have finally opened for Ayacon 2009
In the past few hours the registration process has started and costs £45. Most of us have been waiting a while for the convention to start offering places and we were expecting this happen a few months ago, but good things come to those who wait.
This year's Ayacon will be held at Warwick University's Arts Centre during the 14th - 16th August.
The convention is offering 1250 places for this year's convention and it is on a first come first served basis, so book early to avoid disappointment. You might also expect the available places to go very quickly as this is what happened for Amecon 2008 when it only took a few days for all places to become reserved. The university also offers accommodation which is a few minutes walk from the Arts Centre and also provides on site facilities.
The Ayacon committee will be revealing their special guests and events they have lined up for us when we get closer to August but watch this space for more details when they are announced.
After booking and registration is complete all that is left to do is to finish off your cosplay..."erm we better get started then" but for all of us it is another 6 months to wait.
Our registration is done and we will see you all there at Aya.
