The story of Blood the Last Vampire is set in a American Air Base located in Japan during the 1960's. At that time America has based some of its strategic forces in Japan post World War II.

During the first scene we are introduced to the main characters Saya the protagonist and the two agents from the FBI who have recruited her. Saya possibly the last original Vampire hunts these demons on behalf of the US government. Her co-workers the FBI agents inform her of certain vampire activity in the American air base in Japan. She is taken to the air base where pilots and other personal have their families based on site. She joins the school where it becomes apparent that she has a disliking towards humans as well as vampires.

After killing two vampires disguised as female students the final scene Saya approaches the third and final vampire taking pity on it she offers the creature a few drops of blood making aware she is no different from them.
