AD Police or better know as some following aliases Advance Police, High-level Police or Armoured Division. An 3 episode series from a spin off of Bubblegum Crisis made by Japanese animation studios AIC. This series is set as a prequel few years before Bubblegum Crisis 2040. Although it was released at a time anime became more widespread it didn’t receive much welcome. Ad Police released in 1990 went under a revamp into AD Police: To protect and Serve with 12 episodes to its name released in 1999.

In MegaTokyo AD Police are a squad of special units to stop berserk or faulty boomers (humanoid robots that perform task like maintenance, construction and other job roles). These boomers are used as a potential to free mankind from physical labour.
